What is Internal Family Systems?

1

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a peer-reviewed, evidence-based therapy that helps us understand different “parts” of ourselves. During sessions, we will identify different parts and get to know them through compassion and curiosity rather than judgement. Building these relationships within our system often leads to a greater sense of clarity, self-trust, and more freedom in how we relate to ourselves and others.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

2

Therapy may be a good fit if you’ve been feeling stuck in emotional or relationship patterns, or if you have a desire to better understand yourself. Many people begin therapy because they want more clarity, confidence, and ease in how they relate to themselves and others.

What can I expect in therapy with you?

You can expect a space that’s warm and collaborative without needing to have everything figured out. Our work together focuses on understanding your experiences with curiosity and compassion, especially the patterns that may feel confusing or hard to change.

What are your session rates?

Do you accept insurance?

Are sessions virtual?

I have often heard this shared from first time clients, and it is totally understandable to feel this way. Using an IFS lens, we know parts may feel different ways about starting therapy. All parts are welcome here, even the skeptical ones, and together we can get to know them at a pace that feels safe.

Sessions are $120 for self-pay. I also accept insurance through Alma and Headway. If I’m out-of-network with your insurance, I can provide a superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement. If you have questions about cost or coverage, I’m happy to help you navigate your options.

I provide telehealth therapy via Zoom. I am currently licensed to work with clients who reside in Florida, Massachusetts, and South Carolina.
